Kathmandu, Nepal: Marking the diamond anniversary of first Everest expedition, Nepal government is set to open 23 mountains for expedition reported the Ministry for Tourism, Culture and Civil Aviation Ministry. In its launch it would open the mountains ranging from 6, 000 and 7,000 for expedition.
According to Posta Bahadur Bogati, Minster at MoTCCA , “ The opening of the new mountains will certainly help the tourism industry to cater the interest of new mountaineers. We opened these mountains targeting new mountaineers who want to try new mountains. With the opening we also expect to see the rise in mountaineering in Nepal.”
