Veteran Mountainner Died at Everest Base Camp

Kathmandu, May 6:DaRita Sherpa, 37, an Everest summiter and veteran mountaineer, died while descending from Everest base camp 3 on Sunday.  The deceased has been working as a helper for American mountaineers. His body has been taken to his village Forchhe, Solukhumbu for cremation. “Another mountaineer was also injured along with Sherpa,” said Police, Namche.
